| Since the age of 15 I have been playing the guitar, but being a left handed player I have been limited to what I could buy never mind walk into a shop and try one out. So, just like Brian May, I decided to build my own. After a while i started repairing and setting up other guitars. More and more I started to realise that left handed guitarists had a poor choice and what was available was more expensive.Now I specialise in building, sourcing and upgrading left handed guitars and providing hard to find parts for left handed guitars and guitarists. My guitars are all finished using the best quality parts available and not cheap imports. Tuners are Schallers, Gotoh, Sperzel or Wilkinson, some with custom made buttons. Bridges are Schaller, Gotoh, Wilkinson or custom cast and the pickups I use come from Seymour Duncan, DiMarzo, Lyndi Fralin, Bill Lawrence, Wilkinson, Fender and a few of my own custom wound specials. Tonewoods used are either Alder,Northern Ash, Poplar, Basswood or Brazilian & Bolivian Mahogany. My aim is too offer a service to left handed guitarists not available anywhere else. Guitars are built or upgraded depending on the theme that I have in mind or a replica of an artists guitar. Guitars can be made to custom specifications and prices quoted for these are on request. |
